The 2014 Nebraska Renaissance Faire!
TREAT YOUR FAMILY LIKE ROYALTY!
Grab a turkey leg and step back in time when royalty ruled and knights really were in shining armor. Dozens of costumed characters and many more one-of-a-kind artisans await you in this magical adventure at the 2014 Nebraska Renaissance Faire.
Opening weekend, May 3 & 4, is themed as “Combat & Battles,” with unique swordplay and live-steel reenactments. The second weekend, May 10 & 11, is themed “Knights & Jousting,” with armored contenders on horseback competing on the tournament field. Both weekends offer game-play, hands on activities, live stage performances, and food fit for a king!
The Nebraska Renaissance Faire is an arts and entertainment festival combining outdoor theater, circus-style entertainment, and an arts and crafts marketplace, set in the recreation of a historical European village.
Celebrating its 12th season, the Nebraska Renaissance Faire has grown into a 10-acre theme park filled with charming buildings, tents, castle, food booths, and pub. There is also a variety of fun and unusual people-powered rides, games of skill, and artisan demonstrations.
The Nebraska Renaissance Faire is the largest renaissance festival in the state of Nebraska. Over 100 combined artisans, demonstrators, performers, playtrons, and vendors exhibit their talents in this medieval amusement park. Throughout each day of the faire, a continuous schedule of music, comedy, juggling, and amazing feats of skill are presented on four unique stages.
Renaissance festivals are one of the most interactive entertainment experiences ever created, with wonderful amusements and antics going on all around you! You can sit back and watch, or become part of the festival performance. The village lanes are full of costumed characters – royalty, peasants, and street entertainers – all ready to surprise and delight you with tall tales, songs, jokes, and tricks.
Saturday & Sunday, May 3 & 4 and May 10 & 11, 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are available on-line, at Fairytail costumes in the Crossroads Mall, or at the gate the day of the festival.
